Why Rent a Restroom Trailer Instead of Portable Toilets
A portable toilet does one job. A restroom trailer gives guests the whole bathroom: a stall with a real door, a flushing toilet, a sink with running water, a mirror, light to see by and cool air when it's 90 degrees outside. At a wedding or a formal party, that's the difference between guests noticing the restrooms and guests never thinking about them.
The finish matters too. Our trailers have wood-look trim, textured walls and vanity sinks on waterproof interior wall coverings that stay easy to keep clean. The larger trailers split into men's and women's sides, and the 8-station trailer has its own air conditioning on each side. They look like a restroom inside a nice building, because that's what they're built to feel like.
For a job site, a standard Portable Restroom is still the right tool. For any event where guests are dressed up, the day is long or the host is the one being judged, the trailer is worth it.
Choosing the Right Trailer Size for Your Guest List
Three things decide the size: how many guests, how many hours and whether there's a bar. A three-hour dinner party and an open-bar reception with the same headcount need different setups, because guests use the restroom more often as the night goes on. Lines also bunch up at predictable moments, right after the ceremony, between courses and when the band takes a break, so size for the rush, not the average.
As a starting point, the 2- and 3-station trailers suit intimate weddings, parties at home and VIP areas. The 4-station trailer, with separate men's and women's sides, fits mid-size weddings and corporate events. The 8- and 10-station trailers are built for big guest lists, galas and festivals, and the 8-station model weighs under 8,500 lbs, which makes it easier to place than its size suggests.
Florida's rule sets the minimum number of restrooms for events by attendance and hours. Our How Many Porta Potties Do I Need Guide includes the state's tables and a calculator. Tell us your numbers and we'll recommend a trailer, or a trailer plus standard units for a very large crowd.
For an event open to the public, plan for accessibility. Trailers have steps at each entry, so we pair them with an ADA-Accessible Unit placed nearby. Federal ADA standards call for at least one accessible restroom in every group of restrooms, and at least 5% of the total.
Planning a Restroom Trailer for Your Event
Backyard Weddings and Estate Receptions
A wedding at home or on a private estate looks effortless only when the restrooms are planned. The house bathrooms were built for a family, not 150 guests, and a septic system can back up under that kind of load halfway through the reception. A restroom trailer takes that pressure off the house completely, and it gives guests somewhere to fix their hair and check their makeup in front of a real mirror under good light.
Placement matters as much as size. Put the trailer close enough that guests can find it without asking, but not where the steps face the dance floor or the photographer's background. A spot along a side yard or near the catering tent usually works. Leave a clear path from the reception to the steps, and if the event runs past sunset, light that path.
Parties at Home
Birthday parties, graduations, anniversaries and holiday gatherings bring the same question every host asks: do I really want 80 people using my bathrooms? A 2- or 3-station trailer in the driveway answers it. Guests get a private, air-conditioned restroom with its own door, and nobody has to walk through your bedroom to find the powder room.
For a party at home, the trailer usually sits on the driveway or a flat stretch of lawn near the side of the house. Let your neighbors know it's coming, and if you live in an HOA community, check the association's rules about temporary units before delivery day.
Corporate Events, Galas and VIP Areas
At a company picnic, a product launch or a charity gala, the restrooms say something about the host. A trailer with wood-look finishes and a vanity reads as a planned event, not an afterthought. For larger crowds, a common setup pairs an 8- or 10-station trailer for guests with standard units for staff and vendors behind the scenes.
VIP sections at festivals, tournaments and concerts work the same way. A smaller trailer reserved for sponsors, performers or premium ticket holders is one of the clearest upgrades you can offer, and it keeps the general admission lines moving at the same time.
Festivals and Multi-Day Events
Florida's rule calls for event restrooms to be serviced at least daily. A trailer that runs from morning to night for three days needs a pump-out and restock plan before the gates open, and a route our truck can use without crossing the crowd. Tell us the hours and the expected attendance each day, and we'll build the schedule into the quote.
Large festivals rarely run on trailers alone. Most combine trailers for comfort with rows of standard units for volume, plus handwashing wherever food is sold. We'll help you figure the mix.
Renovations, Restaurants and Offices
A restroom trailer isn't only for celebrations. When a restaurant, office or church loses its restrooms to a renovation, a plumbing failure or storm damage, a trailer in the parking lot can keep the doors open while the work gets done. Customers and staff get a clean, climate-controlled restroom instead of a sign that says the business is closed.
For a longer rental like this, we set a regular service schedule so the trailer stays clean and stocked for as long as you need it, whether that's a week or a season.
What Your Site Needs for a Bathroom Trailer
A trailer needs a reasonably level spot it can be backed into, with a clear path for our truck to get there and back out. A paved driveway, a parking area or firm, flat lawn all work. Soft ground after a week of rain is the most common surprise, so tell us if the spot you have in mind tends to stay wet.
Most trailers also need a power source for the lights and air conditioning. Many venues and homes have an outdoor outlet that works; others need power brought to the spot. We'll walk through power, placement and access with you when we quote, so nothing is left to figure out on the day of the event.
What Restroom Trailer Rental Costs
Every quote is built around your event, not pulled from a rate card. Four things move the price most.
- The Trailer Size: A 2-station trailer costs less to rent than an 8- or 10-station trailer, and the right size depends on your guest list, not the venue's square footage.
- How Many Days: One evening, a full weekend or a few months on a renovation are priced differently. Delivery and pickup are part of every quote.
- Service During the Rental: A single evening needs none. A multi-day festival or a long-term rental gets a pump-out and restock schedule built around how hard the trailer is used.
- The Site: A trailer backed onto a flat driveway is simple. A long carry across a lawn, a tight gate or a venue that needs power brought in can add a step.
How Renting a Restroom Trailer Works
- 1Tell Us About the Event. Call or use the quote form with the address, the date, the hours and your guest count. Mention whether there's a bar, because it changes the size we recommend.
- 2Get Your Estimate. You'll get a written estimate by email from Square listing the trailer, delivery and pickup dates and anything else you asked for. Accept it there and your date is held.
- 3Delivery Before the Event. We back the trailer into a level spot, set it up and check that the lights, air conditioning and flushing all work before we leave. Trailers usually arrive the day before the event.
- 4Your Event. Guests walk into a cool, lit, stocked restroom with real flushing toilets and running water at the sinks. You don't have to touch it.
- 5Pickup. We haul the trailer away after the event, usually the next day. There's nothing for you to empty or clean.
Permits for Event Restrooms
A restroom trailer on private property doesn't need a permit of its own. Paperwork comes in when the event does. In West Palm Beach, a private-property event likely to draw 25 or more people needs a special event permit, the city asks for the application four to six weeks ahead, and the site map has to show where the restrooms will stand. Other cities have their own process.
Call us before you draw the map and we'll give you the trailer's footprint and the clearance our truck needs. For the city's rules in detail, see our West Palm Beach Service Area page.

Luxury Restroom Trailer Rental: FAQ
What's the difference between a restroom trailer and a porta potty?
A restroom trailer is a small building on wheels: air conditioning, flushing toilets, sinks with running water, mirrors, lighting and separate stalls behind real doors. A porta potty is a single plastic unit. Trailers are the choice for weddings, parties and upscale events.
Which restroom trailer size do I need?
It depends on your guest count, how long the event runs and whether alcohol is served. Give us those three things and we'll recommend a size, or a trailer plus standard units for a very large crowd.
What does the trailer need on site?
A reasonably level spot the trailer can be backed into and, in most cases, a power source for the lights and air conditioning. We'll walk through your venue when we quote.
Do I need a permit for a restroom trailer?
Not for a trailer on private property by itself. A larger event can need a special event permit from the city, and in West Palm Beach the event's site map has to show where the restrooms will stand. We'll give you the trailer's footprint for the map.
Are restroom trailers wheelchair accessible?
Our trailers have steps at each entry, so for any event open to the public we pair the trailer with an ADA-accessible unit placed nearby. Federal ADA standards call for at least one accessible restroom in every group, and at least 5% of the total.
How far ahead should I book?
As early as you can, especially for a Saturday wedding or a holiday weekend. Call anyway if your date is close; we'll tell you what's available.
Do you deliver restroom trailers outside West Palm Beach?
Yes. Our yard is in West Palm Beach, and we deliver across Palm Beach, Broward, Martin, St. Lucie and Miami-Dade counties.
How much does it cost to rent a luxury restroom trailer?
Price depends on the trailer size, how many days you need it and whether it needs service during the rental. Send us the address, date, hours and guest count and we'll email a written estimate the same day.
